Scholarship value: The annual scholarship of $35‚000 per annum tax-free will be awarded to a student for a maximum of 3 years.
Description: The William T. Southcott Scholarship has been established as a result of a bequest from Mr William T. Southcott. The scholarship will be offered to outstanding students to undertake a PhD in the field of practical engineering at the University of South Australia.
Eligibility:
- an outstanding academic record
- good communication skills and leadership potential. Applicants will be assessed on the basis of a short essay outlining their vision for the proposed research and its potential benefits to industry
- an interview by the Selection Panel.
