Te Paewai o te Rangi: The University of Waikato Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement has been established to contribute to the University’s Vision of achieving excellence, distinctiveness and international connectedness.
Student type: Domestic and International students are eligible for this scholarship program.
Level of study: Entrance/School Leaver, undergraduate

Scholarship value: $25,000 over three years
Eligibility:
- For school leavers who are intending to enrol full-time in an undergraduate degree in 2021. Candidates must have achieved NCEA Level 2 with Excellence (or equivalent) and must show exceptional leadership qualities and/or be actively involved in community initiatives. Candidates may have taken a GAP year in 2020.
