The Distant Horizons Awards are international travel awards for our undergraduate students who want to take part in academic or employability-related events or activities overseas but who may not have the financial capability to do so. The Awards are granted only to the successful applicants.
Amount
Short-term abroad (under 3 months) โ up to ยฃ500. One semester abroad (3 to 6 months) โ up to ยฃ1,000. One academic year abroad (over 6 months) โ up to ยฃ1,500.
Eligibility
The travel awards are only open to undergraduate students studying at the University of Westminster. The travel must take place internationally and must be completed by 31 August 2020. The overseas activity must be at least 5 days long. Erasmus+ grant recipients are not eligible for the award.
