International Master’s Student Award (IMSA) at University of Waterloo, Canada

Award description: 

Eligible students must be registered full time in a research-based masterโ€™s program at the University of Waterloo and hold a valid Canadian study permit. Students must meet the academic progress requirements of their program, and not have outstanding probationary admission requirements, or be concurrently receiving external awards or sponsorships.

Eligibility & selection criteria: 

International graduate students, with a valid Canadian study permit, registered full time in a MA, MASC, MES, MFA, MMATH (except coursework programs) or MSC (except coursework programs) degree program will receive an IMSA for 2 years (up to term 6.0). 

Students must meet the academic progress requirements of their program, not have outstanding probationary admission requirements and not hold external awards in excess of $7,000 a term, a tuition award or sponsorships or be self-funded.
